It was a long time before Bodie had a church but people still make offerings.

Bodie State Historic Park

 Bodie started out as gold mining town in 1859. Located in California on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, north of Mono Lake. Now it is a Ghost Town, and maybe haunted. You are not supposed to take anything out of the park. But people have and suddenly find bad things happening to them. The Park Rangers have received many items that were returned by mail, asking the rangers to put the item back in its place, to break the curse.
