Gold Bug Mine, Placerville.

The Mine Tour is not highly recommended by me. You can only go a few yard into the mine. Download their audio app of the tour and look at these pictures and you know and seen about everything. However the grounds are nice with a flowing creek. Volunteer blacksmiths work in the shop and the one we saw was very good about explaining things to us. Definitely the best part of the visit there. There is also a very good display of the old mining equipment just below the blacksmith shop.
